Modern Ridge Builders is led by Tyler Grove — a construction professional with more than 20 years of hands-on experience as a superintendent, project manager and estimator. He brings field-level expertise to every project, from the first conversation to the final punch list.
Our focus is Las Vegas commercial construction across healthcare, surgery centers, medical office, industrial, retail, restaurants, hospitality and office. Tyler began his construction career in 2005 with a family-owned commercial company, gaining extensive hands-on experience in field operations, project supervision, estimating, project management, subcontractor coordination and client relations. He didn't start in a conference room — he started on the job site. That foundation shapes how he approaches every project today: with field-level instincts and a clear-eyed understanding of what it actually takes to build.
As owner of Golden Creek Construction from 2014 to 2023, Tyler oversaw every aspect of the business — operations, project management, estimating, superintendent responsibilities, client relations and project execution. He delivered a wide range of commercial projects while building long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors and industry partners.
Technical expertise
Skilled in performing takeoffs, quantity surveying and lump-sum bidding. Extensive experience soliciting and evaluating subcontractors, developing scopes of work and interpreting construction plans and specifications for both competitive and negotiated bids. Demonstrated expertise in managing field operations, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, and ensuring compliance with contract documents, safety standards and project requirements.

What to have ready when you request a bid
You do not need a finished set of drawings to start a conversation, but the more of the following you can share, the faster and more accurate the first number will be: the address and suite, the approximate square footage, your target opening or move-in date, any architectural or MEP drawings you have (even preliminary), the landlord's work letter or tenant criteria if you are leasing, and a list of owner-furnished equipment. If you have a budget in mind, say so early — it helps us tell you honestly whether the scope and the number fit, and where the trade-offs are.
